Networking Is The Whole Game

It's not just about who you know– it's mainly about who knows you.

• Society is networking

• Business is networking

• Social media is networking

It's all about connections.

And as cliché as it sounds, it is true.

It is the difference between success and failure

it is also the difference between success and mega success.

WE ARE WORLDS

Every human being is a lifetime of experiences, thoughts and ideas.

Connecting with one another means access to those.

Access is more important than money.

People use money to buy access.

• Access to information

• Access to power

These are the two things good networking can get you.

If your goal is money, then access to money is also on this list.

There's a reason millionaires advise young up and coming entrepreneurs to attend events and works.

You get to meet other like minds all with their unique experiences and access.

And a lot of time, you'll also have the chance to connect with people levels above you

Learn from them

And if you impress them

You become a part of their network.

TRIBALISM

It is inbuilt in us to live in tribes

And to favour our own tribe over another.

The human race values a sense of belonging

And to belong in a tribe you must have things in common with your tribe.

The world may seem to be a global village right now

But

We have evolved and social media is now our virtual society.

And in the virtual society it is paramount that you find and network with your tribe.

This is the difference between creators and consumers.

Creators understand that social media is virtual society

So they position themselves properly and give themselves authority by creating content.

Consumers still see social media as entertainment and nothing more.

If you're already creating content online, keep doing it

You're early and you will soon be an aristocrat of virtual society

SOCIAL MEDIA HAS CHANGED THE GAME

So we understand tribes and connections now

But how does social media come into this?

• Business is high value interaction

• Social media is virtual society

The beautiful thing about technology is that when you merge these two

There's no limit to who you network with

There's no limit to how much you can make

There's no limit to the amount of power you control.

You literally become limitless.

What social media helps you build is leverage and distribution

And business will give you a product with which to use that leverage properly.

Now you cannot build proper leverage if you do not network properly.

This is why you need to be conscious about who you follow and who follows you on social media.

At the end of the day

1000 true fans are better than 100,000 random followers.

(But you should still try to build your audience as much as possible)

The only way to consciously build a strong network online is to build a personal brand.

This is isn't rocket science:

• Learn a skill

• Solve a problem

• Teach others how to solve it

• Charge money if you want

• Repeat

Once you build Authority, you will have the right network coming to you.
