THE NEW WORKFORCE

We are in a new era.

Throughout human history, earning a living has never been easier.

You can make money without having to “work”

All with the help of the internet.

For too long we have heard the saying

“Your passion won't make you rich”.

We have also heard the stereotypes:

Starving writer or starving artist.

Now we have writers and artists making more money than lawyers, doctors and professors.

Because of something the internet birthed;

Social media.

These people are the new workforce and we have entered the new economy.

Let's dive in….

THE CREATOR ECONOMY

The creator economy is what I call the new economy.

It's comprises of the total amount earned and earnable by online content creators

This is what Forbes had to say:

Now of course this isn't free money.

Don't think that all you have to do is create an Instagram account and start posting pictures

If you thought I was serious when I said you can make money without having to “work”

You obviously didn't see the quotation marks.

To become part of the creator economy you must enter the new workforce

And to do that, you must start a creator business.

When you hear “business”

Don't think of skyscrapers and long board meetings.

Business is just an exchange of value for money.

Here's a breakdown of the Creator Business Model:

• Create content

• Build an audience

• Create an offer

• Give give give

• Then ask

Firstly you create content around an idea you're familiar with or learning at the moment.

Then you make sure to build an audience around your content. Attract people who are interested in what you talk about.

Then you create an offer, it could be a service or product (digital or physical)

That can help your audience achieve their goals.

Then you keep giving out free content consistently.

Remember, free doesn't mean cheap.

Don't hold anything back and don't be afraid. 99% of people won't implement what you're teaching

Then ask.

Advertise your offer

Show them exactly how you can help them with your service

Showcase your product

Now you have built trust and reputation with your free valuable content.

They'll pay you to help them implement it.

THE FUTURE OF WORK

The future of work is play.

You can now make a living talking about what you love

Or doing what you love.

The days where you must go to school and find a job are quickly passing

Now,

You can learn a high income skill on YouTube

And use social media to build an audience that you will help with that skill, for a price.

But the truth is,

In order to truly make a living off what you love

You must learn a few things:

Studying Psychology doesn't involve going to med school.

I recommend reading PERSUASION by Robert Cardini

With marketing and sales I recommend HOW TO SELL LIKE CRAZY by Sabri Suby.

Ofcourse these books won't automatically make you psychology professors or marketing and sales experts

But they will get you started and open your eyes to the possibility

That people can be interested in anything.

All you need to do is to push them in the right direction.
